Most important issue that usually face forums owners are the moderations. Even if the use of forums have slow down during the last year due to social media, however forums remain really useful for many online apps.

It is simple and fast ! No clutter, no bloat, no complex dependencies. It is built with PHP so it’s quick and easy to deploy. The interface is powered by Mithril, a performant JavaScript framework with a tiny footprint.

Even if it’s still in beta, Flarum is already being used by many forums such as

  • DevNL : a highly customised Dutch developer community with a unique layout, and beautiful elements like a custom loader. Created by the author of the popular SEO and Support Platform extensions.
  • giffgaff : is a leading British telephone network, it serves millions of customers. Through innovative use of the forum, they’ve built up a passionate peer support community, improving support and engaging customers.
