Mohamed Said, Laravel Developer, announced today that applications running on laravel Vapor can already upgrade to Laravel 8.x after making sure they run the latest vapor-core, vapor-cli, and vapor-ui. Applications using Spark will need to upgrade to Spark 11.0 instead.
Laravel 6.x remain the current long term support version until September 3rd 2022, while Laravel 8.x end of life is 8th September 2021.
