Hugobot is an integrated scratchpad for PHP where you can run your PHP code and watch the output in front of you without leaving your editor. Hugobot is available as VS Code extension

Hugobot is very easy to use, just run the “start” command from the pallette. Output is shown beside your code in the blink of an eye. You can even run the code snippets and immediately see the output. The extension capture and display errors nicely. Support for Sublime Text, IntelliJ and Atom is coming soon, so stay tuned.
