Galactic Plunder is a new JavaScript game that uses the power of Canvas and Audio object in HTML5. The game was developed as a proof of concept that a shooter-style game can be coded without the use of any Flash. The first level of the game is fully implemented, and the second is in development. I liked the idea of base64 encoding audio files so it don’t have to be reloaded again when needed, you have only to call a JavaScript variable. All source code is available under open license, reuse freely for any purpose and don’t forget to give credits to its author
