I wasn’t used to receive long emails, but I was redirecting some emails logs to my Gmail account recently and noticed today that email was truncated. Gmail didn’t show the totality of the message but I’m not sure of the reason, by the end there was three points then : [Message clipped] and a link to view the entire message. The message by the end is a little confusing as it was part of the email. So if you got a long email and saw the message by the end be sure to follow the link for risk to miss something trunked.

I have found an old post on Google Blogoscoped forum about Gmail limitations indicating that message limit is about 100kb. I don’t mind the limitation if it was only indicated correctly.
