Google Base have a new version 2 which will probably replace froogle, the product search service by Google. The new Google base search have many options to optimize search results and to find products presented in three views options :
- List View: putting products below each other, including snippets.
- Grid View: putting products next to each other, details showing on hover.
- Map View: putting products onto a Google Map.
The result page looks ready to fit with the Google design, even that it looks different with the AJAX load of pages. With paging in the bottom, the standard Google Search field, in addition to two links for RSS and adding a new item to Google Base.
