Yesterday we have moved PHPMagazine.net to a new server that we have called HostPHP.org. This was mainly due to the resources usage problem that the old server was encountering and the server administrator suggest me to solve or to upgrade to another hosting plan. The problem for me is that the website is very well optimized to work with minimum server resources, but anyway I have enabled again all scripts that have been disabled for resources abuse and the website is still under 2% for both memory and CPU usage !
Personally I have no explanation for the 6 or 8% that was measured before, the server might be unstable for a reason or another. Also we had a reseller account before, but we don’t sell hosting service. All the hosting account that we manage are for our partners, friends, or members parts of our Network. Everybody will be moved to the new server by next week, the only advantages that we have now are the total control of resources in addition to the unlimited bandwidth with a 1.5Mbps line. We’ll keep you updated with more information very soon.
