This month will be held the MySQL conference and Expo 2007 on April 23rd to 26th organized by O’Reilly with the participation this year of Ma*rten Mickos, CEO MySQL AB, in addition to many known figures in the PHP world as Rasumus Lerdorf and Andi Gutmans. I had always in mind when I talk about PHP, the MySQL database as primary database solution that have been used for many years extensively in web application development. MySQL today is more powerful than before, and I wasn’t really surprised when I saw Oracle in the list of Gold sponsor of the events. After all MySQL proved its performance in many large application such at Yahoo or the one we talk about more frequently these days : Youtube.
