Few years ago when we started talking about XForms i find it very interesting, I tried some implementation in IE but didn’t work too much on it as it wasn’t yet a recommendation like today and there was the old Mozilla browser in that time and I wasn’t a big Fan.
Today Mozilla XForms is available as addons for Firefox and Mozilla, the new version XForms 0.7.0.1 is intended for Firefox 2.0.x. Elliotte Rusty Harold, Adjunct Professor, Polytechnic University, have written an excellent introduction to Mozilla XForms on Firefox on IBM developerworks, from installing the extension to create simple and advanced samples and explore the capabilities of XForms.

Using the experimental Mozilla XForms extension, you can process XForms in your browser today. While not yet deployed widely enough for use on the public Internet, XForms may be suitable for some intranet applications. This article demonstrates basic XForms processing as currently supported by Firefox and the Mozilla XForms plug-in.

The extension is experimental, as XForms isn’t really used on real applications, but I think it’s time to see more seriously the capability of this great standard which gives more power to the web Forms. You can read more about XForms and find recommandation on W3C website http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/.
You can download Mozilla XForms from Mozilla website. Anyone have already experienced Mozilla XForms in real applications ?
