Seagull framework 0.6.1 have been just released last week, with many improvements and bugfixes. You can download the latest Seagull or try the demo online. The Seagull is a mature CMS/Framework, its core is licensed under BSD and is free to use in Open Source and closed commercial projects.

Major improvements in this realease include:

  • errors encountered in production mode are handled more gracefully
  • if you had problems installing the event module please see the instructions here
  • added possibility of passing arbitrary args to CLI requests
  • implemented DB table prefix support
  • the comment module enhanced with Akismet integration and captcha
  • added example REST client and server implementations
  • enhanced module installer adding symlink support for windows users
  • the library cache can now be controlled using the standard Config gui
  • added ability to include a debug block for development rebuilds
  • many PEAR and translation updates
