VON FALL 2006, BOSTON, MA, September 12, 2006 – APEX Voice Communications, a worldwide supplier of Application Servers and Multi-Service Platforms for enhanced services, unified messaging, real-time billing solutions, and value-added IP multimedia services, today announced the availability of its OmniVoXML Media Gateway as a standalone product. APEX has been delivering OmniVoXML as a component of the APEX Multi-Service Platform (APEX MSP[tm]) for several years now, but as a standalone product, it is now able to interpret call flows created in third-party application servers, in addition to those created in the award-wining OmniView(r), the browser-based Service Creation/OAM&P Environment of OmniVox3D(r). Key features include support for SNMP, MRCP (Media Resource Control Protocol) and an extensive array of protocols.
