The new official domain for Firefox Magazine is now http://firefox.phpmagazine.net, we have moved to a new publishing plateform and started moving all our blogs. All links will be redirected to the subdomain inspite of the main phpmagazine.net website.
Firefox magazine is the hottest blog in phpmagazine.net with news, tips and more about Firefox, to make a better browsing experience, we want to share with you extensions that we use or tryed, themes, plugins, hacks and maybe we’ll talk later about advanced topics concerning the firefox browser itself.
Since the latest 1.5 RC release, I didn’t change and kept using the 1.0.7, but after moving to the official 1.5, I found it really much better. Talking about stability, I rarely faced crash of Firefox, but the day when it happened it was fatal, because my plugin session saver wasn’t updated and so I lost an email I was writing in a webmail, but didn’t lost the one I was writing in gmail thanks to the AJAX real time saving feature in Gmail.
Anyway looks like there is many extensions that have been updated to 1.5 after its official release, and I’m trying to stay updated. The only extensions not updated are Minimize to tray, MeasureIt, and BookmarksHome. Also I found many difficulties to work with the arabic version of firefox, I used to work always with english or french browsers and still new to arabic software. But now I’m feeling much better with it.
