If you’re looking for a better looking and display of firefox this tip will be very helpful to reduce firefox menus and have more space for web pages. The result will be a one line condensed menu and without the bookmarks toolbar. This is what I have done :
- First go to “View” then “Toolbars” and uncheck the Bookmarks toolbar
- From the view, toolbar also select “Customize”
- In the Customize window check the “Use small icons”
- Then drag and drop the icons you want from the navigation toolbar into the menu toolbar, icons you don’t want you can drag them to the customize window.
- Now back to View, toolbars and then uncheck the navigation toolbar
The result will be something like the screenshot below, personaly I find it much better for browsing, rather than using the Full Screen (F11) mode, this tweak will give you large view with menu and navigation tools :
