Flash earth is a very nice hack using Google Maps or MSN Virtual Earth on a flash interface

It’s the same as Google Maps or MSN Virtual Earth but the interface is much smoother to use. You get a sense of location because you can zoom in and out without the display being recreated. And you can rotate the map, something almost impossible to do using HTML and JavaScript (or AJAX if you know your web jargon), but a piece of pee with Flash.
