Recently OpenID started to be adopted widely after Microsoft, AOL, Yahoo, and recently the announcement made by Digg.

What is great with OpenID is that you can login to any website which support the protocol with the same login information. Simply provide your OpenID provider URI, then you’ll be redirected to login normally. In such complex network, you can even host your own OpenID server and login defintely from your own website, you can imagine if more providers supports OpenID how easy would be surfing on the web.
The only point here is how secure is the OpenID protocol, and will this open the door to new phishing techniques ?
At PHPMagazine.net we are preparing something with OpenID, we’ll talk about it in future post.
