Flex and PHP: Party in the Front, Business in the Back

Cal posted a great article over Zend Devzone using PHP and the Zend Framework as the back-end data source for a Feed Reader Flex application. The application made in the tutorial is an RSS Feed Reader for DevZone that adds pictures from Flickr to each article. To get pictures, Cal used keywords suggestion service from Yahoo and injected the results in Flickr search. I find it pretty useful for advanced users looking to get started with Flex and Zend Framework. Also Cal revealed in comments a project he’s working on slowly to that shows using the Zend Framework as the back end and multiple front ends including plain HTML, Ajax, Flex and probably Silverlight.
