I [to love] how the news [to be] [to announce] on Slashdot today. Here [to be] the latest egregious patent application. Microsoft [to be] [to apply] for a patent for [to conjugate] verbs. Future postings [to look] like this.
Launching a patents magazine is one of our todos here at phpmagazine.net, there is really lot of things more than programming issues that we would like to discuss with the community. Such patents are not only egregious in my opinion but also very annoying for everyone.
The problem is not with Microsoft in my opinion but due to many companies that have their business to create patents for everything and then sue big companies such Microsoft for using anything in their software. Patents are a mechanism created to protect the technology and I think it should be more controlled so companies who abuse patents will be punished.
