The jQuery team have just announced jQuery Mobile Framework, a unified user interface system across all popular mobile device platforms, built on the rock-solid jQuery and jQuery UI foundation. The project is under heavy development and is expected to be released later in this year. jQuery Mobile got already some very interesting sponsors as : Mozilla, Palm, and Filament Group.
