I used to deal with Barcodes very frequently and really faced lot of times many difficulties to scan my barcode, or to use it in other applications. Of course without talking about the price of barcode reader.
Recently I was reading about QR Code, exactly after I tried the new barcode reader on my N80 and find the concept pretty interesting to use a mobile phone as a barcode reader. But after I read about QR Codes I discovered how great is this new standard to create 2D Barcode, I discovered also its capabilities to stock large amount of data compared to others standard such the one created and used by UPS MaxiCode.
So i wanted to create QR Codes to try my N80 reader, and then thought about turn it into a website so everybody can profit. The result you can see it online : OpenQRCode. It’s a one page service where you enter a text and hit the generate to create your QRCode. I have added also more options to create more advanced codes with different sizes. Then you can download the image code as PNG then use it in your prints or website.

I’m wondering if I could generate the QR codes from your site from an automated system (in-frequent) or if you would release the code use?
I’d also be prepared to pay for a code license but only if it works. I put in our url http://www.vizitag.com and the app returns an overflow error. I’m sure there will be a commercial market for a PHP QR Generator script.
