By next week, we are starting something new here at the PHP Magazine Network called “The AJAX Weekends”. As you might have guessed, it has something to do with AJAX technology and will be happening over a weekend. Stay tuned for more details…
Every week, there will be a new and different challenge which will begin on Saturday and must be completed by Sunday. The challenge will be related to AJAX application development, and the winners will receive prizes offered by our partners and by phpmagazine.net.
I have just few comments concerning the AJAX weekends, is that all the event will be a contribution for the open source community. Which mean that we’ll try to keep the focus on open source products, and keep even the participation code open sourced. Also we’ll try to have a more variants projects which will focus on the usage of AJAX in business application development.
The other point is the sponsors, currently we don’t have many sponsors. There is some who already answered and agreed, others that we’re still waiting their answers … ! Positions are very limited, so if you are interested please contact us to reserve your place.
