The new official domain for PHP5 Magazine is now http://php5.phpmagazine.net, we have moved to a new publishing plateform and started moving all our blogs. All links will be redirected to the subdomain inspite of the main phpmagazine.net website.
In the new edition there will be more news and articles about PHP5, snippets and also tutorials. We’ll try to join the effort of the phpmagazine.net team and make better PHP5 content, so stay tuned ! The design have been also changed accordingly, to be more simple and more readable but specially following the same design in all the others phpmagazine.net blogs.


PHP5 is certainly the new generation of PHP scripting language, and promising to see more enhancements for the future of PHP. I was interested in the previous month to write about PHP, and still. There is lot of interesting topics that still need to talk about such frameworks, architecture …
Tom asked me few days ago about some PHP frameworks, because he found most of the new and interesting frameworks today are written for PHP5 and nothing for PHP4. Is it time to move to PHP5 ? PHP4 still powering lot of websites and business online, when we need to move, how we could make a successful migration …
I personaly still not yet using PHP5 in my own projects, maybe I have to start too ! The first thing that I would be interested to do is to rewrite my current PHP projects in PHP5, and see how can I profit from the new architecture to make better code, more performant … etc.
