Google blog search is certainly making lot of discussions today in the blogosphere, the announcement wasn’t expected ! After trying the new beta, I noticed lot of unrevealed features in google blog search that you can notice by visiting the Advanced blog search.
Finding posts by date
Certainly very useful features, because if you know when the post have been published you can easily find it. Also you can use it to monitor some keywords or discussion in the blogosphere. For example there was about 378 posts last month about Splog
Language search
I was interested to find some arabic blogs for example or french ones talking about a specific subject. This feature is really excellent and available since the first beta of Google blog search.
The main reason that google include this new features is that their data is based on Blogs feeds, which have already all those informations indexed and ready for use : author,title,post,date,language …
