Start.com have a new preview release ala Google.
Start.com/myw3b is currently a preview release. This means that you may experience some glitches from time to time or features that may not be fully polished or complete. But we’re hoping you’re willing to bear a few glitches and partial features in exchange for seeing your thoughts and ideas implemented in this space as fast as we can. These ideas come directly from your feedback, so keep it coming! It’s been awesome so far, and we’re definitely listening. Stay tuned to see what’s coming 🙂
In fact it doesn’t work correctly on firefox, but look at this : “Here are some of the things we’re currently working on: Firefox support, rest assured we haven’t abandoned our firefox users and are working on the issues continuously”.
The site is still experimental as they said, showing GOOG quote in the first line. The way that they manage results is amazing too, you can move your search result to create a pin that you can drag and drop in the main page.
The latest version of Start.com was launched on June 3, 2005 I’m excited to see a finalized version of this preview edition !
